Fire emblem engage enchanter9/27/2023 After completing the Fell Xenologue quest, players are rewarded with a whole host of useful items including equipment for the new Mage Cannoneer and Enchanter classes. Nil is the decidedly weaker of the two, though the player can still equip them with Bond Rings in order to give them a boost. Unlike in regular battles where defeat occurs, if Alear is felled, the player will also lose if either Nel or Nil are felled as well, making these battles require an added degree of caution. When starting the Fell Xenologue, Units will be reset to predetermined levels, stats, and classes, and be joined by Nel and Nil as allies. They also come with great Luck and Dexterity which tie into their Dagger and Fist proficiency. On the other hand, the Enchanter is a support class who can enchant weapons and items to make them more effective throughout a battle. Aside from their strong distance attacks, Mage Cannoneers are very tanky with high HP and Defense that'll let them take a hit if the enemy manages to get in close. The Mage Cannoneer is exactly as it sounds: a Mage that utilizes a hand-held cannon to attack from a distance. With Wave 4 of the Expansion Pass, a new story mode was added, as well as the new Enchanter and Mage Cannoneer classes. On the other hand, the DLC does have a habit of giving players even more items than they actually need - thus lowering the potential difficulty level considerably. These are good additions to the game, and given Engage's inherent replay value, they only provide more options and customizability. The first three waves of Fire Emblem Engage's DLC consisted mostly of buff items like the Emblem Bracelets which provide stat boosts, as well as new accessories and new Emblems of classic characters like Chrom and Camilla.
